@roytonboy123 Thanks. I really do appreciate this version, so I hope people don’t misunderstand my opinion. Boyce Avenue is really great at covering popular songs. There are tons of videos of them doing really interesting renditions and collaborations with other artists. I genuinely enjoy listening to them, otherwise I wouldn’t be here. When a bunch of people suggested this was better than the original, I just thought I’d share my thoughts on why I disagree. This is a great cover.

  19. milococorazon says:

que genioosss!!!!!!!! es hermosa esta version!!:)

  20. ironzoeg123 says:

    I think Magic Lazo

  21. JCRx45 says:

@Subarashiiluv To address your second question – I never argued that this version “was not human”. I suggested that that Coldplay values of imperfection in music. A great deal of what we are hearing in the Boyce Avenue cover is not the performers directly, but the studio production that gives it that up front, radio sound. I suggested that I can’t feel original sense of emotional vulnerability behind the way the song was produced.

  22. roytonboy123 says:

    Sorry, @jrcx45

  23. roytonboy123 says:

    Well said jrc

  24. JCRx45 says:

@Subarashiiluv My previous comment addressed the idea that their version was better than the original. How do you define “being really good at it”? They are both good singers and performers in a technical sense, but by no means is this a live performance. What bothers me is that their vocal tracks use a bunch of compression and auto tune when they really don’t need it. Music has moved toward taking the faults out of everything. In this case, i think it takes away from the meaning of the song.
